Second Thoughts are a lively and friendly group who try to produce good theatre that is enjoyable and challenging for audience and group members. If you are interested in making contact with us and knowing more about the group, go to our Contact Us page.
Second Thoughts do not operate with what you may call a conventional committee. This means that all paid up members are able to vote at our monthly meetings and therefore have an immediate say on all manner of subjects: forthcoming productions, social events, purchases etc. We do have some officers in place of course, to guide us through the legal side of things.
Second Thoughts has established itself as a group that thrives on a challenge. We undertake productions that other groups shy away from. We can be quite diverse. For example, recent productions included, Calendar Girls, All My Sons (NODA best drama 2013), Waiting for Godot, A Man for all Seasons, The Deep Blue Sea and Shakers.
We welcome all who have an interest in theatre or merely wish to be part of a thriving friendship circle. Subscriptions are currently set at £20 per annum with some concessions.
So if you are interested in joining as an actor, working backstage, set builder, technician, then please get in touch with us via the contacts page. You will be assured of a warm welcome. Our meetings are held at Foundation House, Masons Road, Stratford on Avon. Meetings commence at 8pm and are generally held on the second Monday of each month.
There are many opportunities within the group, not just acting roles. We have several non-acting members who enjoy working on our productions. We also need backstage and other support people in such roles as lighting, sound, stage management, costumes, marketing, press communication and front of house.
Please contact us using the form to the right. An officer of the group will respond to you.
