We have a series of dynamic, exciting and fun workshops coming up over the next few months.  These will give everyone an opportunity to meet up and either learn some new skills and techniques or refresh old ones.  All Workshops will be at St. Peter’s Mission, Manor Road, with Sunday Workshops running from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm and midweek from 7.30 – 9.00 pm.  (unless otherwise stated).   Workshops are for subscribed members of Second Thoughts, but if you’d like to come along, why not join?  You can do so on the evening, or contact in advance

Chris Musson is running an informal CPR (first aid) workshop (uncertificated) For any crew / production team/ ushers/actors (in fact anyone interested……) who feel they may be called upon to save a swooning actor from having a nasty accident backstage, or a seriously collapsing member of the audience from something far worse. The workshop will be at a new location: The Boston Tea Party (top of Henley Street) Sunday 28th April, 6.30pm-8pm approx Improvisation Workshop & more Scripted Stuff on its way to you soon!!!

Curry with the Cast! Our most popular social event continues for our production of ‘Little Women’ on Friday 12th April. As always the exact restaurant is tbc until nearer the time. If you will be joining us let us know on

Party with the little women! Everybody is invited to celebrate the end (in a good way!) of our productions. Come join us in the Bear Pit bar on Saturday 13th April and let’s give the ‘Little Women’ a good send off!

Annual 2T Quiz Alert! Second Thoughts proudly announces its 2019 Quiz to take place on Friday 3rd May. Initially this quiz is open to Second Thoughts members, their guests, and The Samaritans who will once again be supporting the event. We will also be opening the quiz to our Friends in Phoenix Players. Many thanks to Rick Allen for hosting for the third year running at Hathaway Tea Rooms, High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. The cost is £10 to include a jacket potato with choice of fillings, choice of dessert and tea/coffee. Payment is required in cash on the night. We will kick off at 7pm with jackets served at 7.30 pm . The Samaritans will run a raffle and cash bar will be open throughout the evening. The Auld Alliance between Clan Macdonald and Clan McLean triumphantly return as our fiendish quiz masters. To enter email Ian ( Places are limited (only 48!) so get in fast: we will accept entries from complete teams of four or from individuals. The event is open on a first come, first served basis.
