Second Thoughts do not operate with what you may call a conventional committee. This means that all paid up members are able to vote at our monthly meetings and therefore have an immediate say on all manner of subjects: forthcoming productions, social events, purchases etc. We do have some officers in place of course, to guide us through the legal side of things.

Second Thoughts has established itself as a group that thrives on a challenge. We undertake productions that other groups shy away from. We can be quite diverse. For example, recent productions included, Much Ado About Nothing, Time Masons (world premiere), Little Women and and A Chorus of Disapproval.

We welcome all who have an interest in theatre or merely wish to be part of a thriving friendship circle. Subscriptions are currently set at £20 per annum or £8 for single show membership.

There are many opportunities within the group, not just acting roles. We have several non-acting members who enjoy working on our productions. We also need backstage and other support people in such roles as lighting, sound, stage management, costumes, marketing, press communication and front of house.
